At first we raced through space, like shadows and light; her rants, my raves; her dark hair, my blonde; black dresses, white. She’s a purple-black African-violet-dark butterfly and I a white moth. We were two wild ponies, Dawn and Midnight, the wind electrifying our manes and our hooves quaking the city; we were photo negatives of each other, together making the perfect image of a girl.

11 Awkward Situations Bisexual Folks Are tired Of Dealing With

It is super annoying when people ask me, “are you really bi? Because, I see you with a lot of guys.” Considering how the Seattle metropolitan area has a huge tech industry which includes Microsoft, Boeing, Amazon, Adobe, and a Google satelleite office—mostly made up of male employees—and considering how many lesbians are bi-phobic, and how I have a lot of trouble getting a female date anyway, it is no wonder that most of the people I date are male. It does not change my sexuality. Besides, I am very picky about men anyway, whereas I’m more relaxed with women.
